Thanksgiving
I have so much to be thankful for this year. I could make a list a mile long, should I take the time to consider everything, and to write it all down. Thankful ofr my friends and family, for my salvation in Christ, for God's guidance, and knowing that God is watching over me and everyone that I care about. There is one thing that bothers me about Thanksgiving in America. People take the time to think of what they have to be thankful for, but who are they thankful to. You can not just say thankyou, and not direct it towards anything. I bet that many people didn't think of that when they were list things they had to be thankful for. I have no problem directing my thanks to one place. I am thankful to God for all things I have, and all I have bee priviledged to do. I thank him ofr the peopel I have the priviledge to know, and the ones he has brought unexpected my way, buyt what about other people? What about atheists? Who do they think. I gurantee that they celebrate the holiday, but why are they thankful if they have no one to thank? How lost an meaningless this day has become, and that is why. That is why all we think of is a big meal, and a giant turkey. it is the same reason why we say X-mas. We take out the meaning, and if you take out the meaning why is it worth celebrating at all. This year I hope more peopel will realize who deserve their thanks.
