A Car!!!!!!

Well, after weeks and weeks of searching of searching for a car that runs and is cheap. I am happy to report I have found one. I searched all over the place, news papers and car adds and such. Finally I checked the good old Uncle Henry's. For anyone who doesn't know UH is a booklet that comes out weekly where people try to sell everything from animals to cars and even books and musical instruments. At a $1.50 it is a good ainvestment for anyone in the Maine New Hampshire area who might be searching for something. I called so many people who had adds that looked good and came up with cars that needed more work than I was willing to give. Finally i called about I guy who had a 92 Chevy Cavalier for $350. SOunds to good to be true, but he said it ran and it was last inspected in April. So I went and looked. It isn't the nicest thing in the world, and it runs a little rough, but for that price, well you won't do much better. So I baught it and with a little TLC it drives decent. It will be a fun ride to school though. If it stays running it will be so nice to have a car, no matter how old and junky it may be.

Beautiful Red Cliffs

Green Gables

me at the beach

Our Campsite

PEI Awesome

Well, the trip went great. My brother and I did tons of cool stuff, and just relaxed some. We went and saw some big scottish thing. It was like this whole concert of traditional dance, bagpipes and drums. We went to see your traditional stuff like Green Gables and we went to one of the many beaches and ended up swimming with a bunch of Jelly Fish I saw the Ripley's Believe it or not museum and thought it was pretty cool . They had a lot of weird stuff. We went to Charlotte town and saw the city and stuff, so that was cool. That basically sums it up. The Island is so beautiful. I have made up my mind that I have to go back sometime and see it again. One thing that was really coll is that the dirt is red and so are the rocks and sand. i guess it has something to do with a high iron content. I will post a couple of the many pictures we took to give you a glimpse. I would defenitely reccomend it to anyone. I can't wait to return.

4th of July

Yesterday was the 4th of July. So here is to all of you that celebrated. I had a good day myself. I worked in the morning, but it was pretty good. I had the afternoon and the evening off. So I enjoyed it with my family and friends. I made it home just in time to help with our church's float in our town's little parade. We were advertising for our upcoming VBS. SO I handed out candy to little kids and things like that. I wen thome and relaxed and prepared for the evening. We hada BBQ at my house around 6. We are fortunate enough to live right across the park from where they have the fireworks every year. It was a good time and we had a nice littel crowd. it was mostrly people from our church and some of my friends from work. A bunch of my friends and I went across and watched the fireworks at the park. I love fireworks, but it is especially nice when you have other people to share it with. That made it great. To be honest the fireworks were pretty pathetic or so it seemed. They were shorter than most yearsa and when they were over we were all like "was that it?" . Still it was a good day, and I really enjoyed it. It really is true that family and friends make it all worth while. On a more serious note, I am glad that I have the liberty and freedom that has made this country great. Happy 4th to all.
